We use FTGate 4 because we love the simplicity and the extended
functionality it offers.
We have used/tried Microsoft Exhange Server for a month but found it so cumbersome, restrictive and difficult to use that we decided to chuck it down the garbage bin and purchase a license of FTGate4, even though this meant that we now have a (rather expensive) unused Microsoft Exchange server license. I think that says a lot about how much we like FTGate 4... :-) | |

Like, I suspect, many small companies, our journey into ICT has been a fairly haphazard one. We started with a peer-to-peer network, added an NT4 server and suddenly realised that this whole world of "connectivity" was opening up to us. But how would we manage it?
Cost, including technical learning and deployment time, those 5 or 6 years ago, was a very big issue. We spent some time trying to find a way to offer our staff corporate email, and the "obvious" MS solution appeared to us too expensive, and way too much of a learning curve.... ......As a small company ourselves, we are always keen to deal with "small" companies wherever possible, and we purchased our first FTGate product. We were immediately struck by the tremendous support we were offered, and had a system up and running in no time. Progressing through FTGate Office to FTGate4 we have still received not only product upgrades which are relevant to our needs; added functionality that we can manage; features that we can tailor, but also an on-going level of support which would make many other software providers green with envy. All this at a cost which has our TCO calculations saying "It can't possibly be that cost effective!" In addition to saying that we would unreservedly recommend FTGate solutions to any company looking for a reliable product, we would also like to wish FTGate Technology every success, and look forward to continuing to work with them in the future. | |
